and what Josie had to say;

Hi Jan,
We’re just writing to let you know how very happy we are with our beloved Zardana.  She has not only met our expectations, but she’s exceeded them!   Our family’s standards are very high since our animals also provide companionship for people with special needs.  They have to be social, intelligent, well mannered and, yes, even striking in appearance since that helps “break the ice” when, on occasion, they go out in public.   We’re pleased to say that so far Zardana has demonstrated a level of intelligence, beauty, and sociability rarely found elsewhere.  In fact, we weren’t sure at first whether being a therapy animal would work for a Savannah, but in a short time she’s made it clear that no matter what we ask her to do she’s going to excel at it.  She loves all the attention. What a cat!!

Zardana has made our home and family feel complete.    We love her so much.  And I know she’s going to bring many smiles to the people she’ll visit in the future. I’m so glad that we chose her and you (Snow Canyon Savannahs).  I knew right away over the phone and again upon meeting you that working with your cattery and choosing Zardana was the best decision on a Savannah cat we could have made.  Your knowledge and love of the breed and commitment to placing your kittens in the right home for them helped get us and Zardana off to a fantastic start.   Thanks again and keep up the great work you’re doing!

 P.S.  Like you, we wouldn’t necessarily recommend a high percentage savannah to the average cat owner, though. Zardana requires and receives a lot of attention and training with us and she’s perfect for our family, but that may not be true for others.  We agree that a lower percentage F5, 6 or 7 is probably best for families just starting out.
